General Instruction

Abstract submission

Overall Process
To submit the abstract, you need to log in to the submission system using the account information you have generated for the conference registration and follow the instructions step by step. You can edit the submitted abstract if necessary. In case you forget your account information or have a query about abstract submission, please contact kgenetics@kgenetics.or.kr or call + 82-2-554-3328.
IMPORTANT Please read the following instructions before submitting an abstract.
Multiple abstracts can be submitted under the same account, only if the abstract is presented by the same Presenting Author.
Abstracts can be edited at any time up to the deadline.
Abstracts must be less than 1,200 English characters (space not included) and/or take up no more than half a page.
Presentation Type
All abstracts submitted should be presented as a poster (please see the "Poster submission" below for the detailed instruction).
If you wish to give an oral presentation, check the box for Oral Presentation when submitting the abstract. These abstracts will undergo a peer-review process by the Conference Scientific Committee and the selected abstracts for Oral Presentation will be notified by email to the Presenting Authors.
The selected presenters need to do ~ 7 minutes oral presentation in the Trainee Sessions (Day 1).
Please note that the abstracts selected for Oral Presentation should also be displayed as a poster in the poster sessions.

Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines when preparing abstracts for submission for ICGSK 2023.

View the abstract template and prepare your abstract as instructed.
Submission Process
The Presenting Author will be the point of contact for the abstract and must be the one to submit the abstract. Log into the online abstract submission portal system with your account information (email and password) created upon registration.
The online abstract submission system is a simple step-by-step process and will ask you to input the following details:
  • Upload Abstract file (.doc or .docx)
  • Category must be chosen from the category list provided.
  • If you wish to apply for Oral Presentation, check the box.
  • Upon successful submission of the abstract, a pop-up window notifying submission will be displayed.

You can view your abstract by logging into the online abstract submission portal and edit your abstract at any time up to abstract submission deadline.

Poster preparation

The detailed format of a poster and important information for the poster presentation will be notified to the authors who are supposed to present posters by email.
